Landscape Technician (Contract)

Xeriscape Bend is seeking a reliable, motivated Landscape Technician for contract-based project work. We specialize in water-wise, sustainable landscape design and installation throughout Central Oregon.
This is an opportunity to work on thoughtful, climate-adapted landscapes that prioritize efficient irrigation, native plantings, and clean, professional installation practices.

Contract / Project-Based
Hours vary depending on project schedule (primarily weekday work)
Responsibilities
Assist with landscape installation (planting, grading, soil prep, mulching)
Install and modify irrigation systems
Hardscape support (paver prep, base material placement, basic carpentry assistance)
Site clean-up and material staging
Maintain organized and safe job sites
Represent Xeriscape Bend professionally with clients
Qualifications
Landscape or construction experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Basic hand tool familiarity
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and on a small team
